Membrane Bioreactor

By combining biological wastewater treatment and membrane filtration, the membrane bioreactor (mbr) process treats wastewater effectively. Unlike conventional activated sludge treatment, MBR generates permeate water of high quality that can undergo reverse osmosis treatment. This process also minimizes the footprint by operating at higher MLSS and removing the need for a sedimentation tank. Moreover, MBR reduces biodegradable pollution with the help of bacteria and microorganisms. After the biological treatment, a membrane separates the activated sludge from the treated water.
